Flashbacks 3: London- a capital of diversity

- CITY& ITS ATMOSPHERE: yes, this is the reason why people like the city so much! Its VIBE and it MULTIDIVERSITY. I must admit, I have never felt the same vibe in another city.
- SIGHTSEEING: as you most probably know, there are numerous places to go to, visit and explore. My choice this time: Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Chinatown, Picadilly, Soho, Trafalgar Square, walk nearby Thames, National Portrait Museum.
- DIVERSITY: something I truly missed in Estonia and Ecuador: soo many different people from all over the world living in the same environment, sharing the same public space and accepting differences between cultures.
- PEOPLE: do not expect ancient Londoners to be polite, warm-hearted, and hospitable. But yes, they for sure are fashionable and professional. Still, the immigrants tend to give you a helping hand in whatever situation you might face.
- FOOD&DRINKS: I love different types of food, experimenting with tastes and flavors. And London is just a right place for this: Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Pakistan, Turkish, Moroccan: pick the one you like most.
Not to forget Starbucks: I do not have it in SP, so good and fast coffee was nice.
- MY GREAT HOSTS: 2 cousins originally from Pakistan. Thank you Elina for helping to find them. They were more than ideal hosts: a city tour, a cousy stay, and finally even a ride to Gatwick. Thank you! I’ll never forget your kindness! Honestly speaking, I did not have a confirmed place to stay one 1 before I was heading to London. My friend Caryl was supposed to be there and host me, but anyhow, she did not make it. So, my friend Elina organized everything. Thank you so much for it!
- LIFE STANDARD: I could not imagine myself leaving there for a longer time: no personal space at all!!! Why!?! Cause people just cannot afford it: everything, including rents, are incredibly expensive.
- WEATHER: I just could not leave it saying. It was just excellent!!! The weekend I stayed in London was sunny and warm, no rain and cold weather.
- AM I GOING BACK THERE!?!? No question at all!!! The flights to UK are cheap and I still need to visit my really good friend from Ecuador- Caryl, who is doing her masters there. Plus all the things I did not manage to do this time: starting with clubbing, shopping, going to theatre. The list could be endless…
On the photos: Trafalgar Square, Thames, Covent Garden, typical phone booths.
